About Me
Hello, my name is Lindsey.
I love supporting indie authors, partly because I am one. I appreciate the challenges self-published authors face in gaining visibility and projecting legitimacy. It’s a sharp learning curve that is always changing.
Currently, I live in the Pacific Northwest with my husband and a menagerie of pets. I love to travel, read, and write. I’m a big gamer, both on the screen and on the table. In my spare time, I write serialized science fiction, namely space opera. I love a tale with action and adventure, mystery, and romance.
I have an ACES Poynter Intermediate Copyediting Certificate and training through the EFA, including developmental editing and working with indie authors. I also have certificates from North Idaho College in copyediting and grammar. I am vetted and approved Partner Member of the Alliance of Independent Authors (ALLi). Prior to editing fiction, I was an undergraduate genetic research assistant and spent over a decade working in oncology.
AI Policy: I do not use AI to edit. When you hire me, you’re hiring a human editor with emotional intelligence and lived experience.
